Pookie's feast on friday
My usual bedtime is when I want to go to bed. I am free like a bird, so why should I bother about bedtime ? It could be 9 pm, midnight or later, I am happily retired !
Soup When it comes to advice, do you give more or receive more ?
Probably I receive a lot of advices, but I don't listen, so I don't know exactly. One thing is sure, I like to give advices all the time even when they are unwanted.
Salad Describe a memorable meal you've had.
I would like to, but I think and think and think, my head is already smoking, but I really can't find one. Maybe they all were memorable or so common that I don't remember. I never had a meal with fried worms, insects or snakes.
Main Course Name a work of fiction that affected the way you think about something.
I think I have to find a book which explains to me why I changed thinking about something but first I have to look after something which makes me think.
Dessert What is your favorite type of fruit juice?
I like any type of fruit juice, but it shouldn't be too sweet.

Gattina - I think you are like ME - your memorable meals probably have nothing to do with the food! Our Soup and Salad are very similar also!!!
I do NOT prefer HAMBURGER! I prefer turkey sandwich AT the Hamburger Hamlet!
I have never had a meal with fried worms, insects or snakes either. Although I have shared a few picnics with some ants and bees.

I'm not too keen on exotic dishes like those you mentioned. In the Philippines, there is a place popular for fried grasshoppers. They say it's great but I haven't tried them yet.

The hubby has had fried ants.
I remember in high school, being invited to the Space Needle in Seattle for a dinner.
I don't remember anything on my plate except for the steamed ferns. I must have been impressed. I'm sure there was other food. (:

Tasty Feast...I'm not much on "exotic foods" either. Going to bed is never the problem....it's the getting up!

The closest I've gotten to insects in a meal is escargot.
