5. Do you sleep in the same position all night because it annoys your cats when you move?
6. Do you feed your cat while you eat ?
7. Does your cat sit at the table (or ON the table) when you eat?
8. Does your cat sleep on your head and you like it?
9. Do you have more than four opened but rejected cans of cat food in the refrigerator?
10. Do you climb out of bed over the headboard or footboard, so you won't disturb your sleeping cat?
11. Do you watch bad TV because the cat is sleeping on the remote?
12.Did you buy a video tape of fish swimming in an aquarium to entertain your cat?
13.Will you stand at the open door indefinitely in the freezing rain while your cat sniffs the door, deciding whether to go out or come in?
Answering 98 % of the questions by yes, I have to admit that I am rather owned by my cats than a cat owner.
And you ?

Very cute post :) My cat Tigger loved to sleep on my head when he was a little baby. When he grew to 14 pounds that obviously didn't work so well anymore, so I made him move to my feet.
What a fun TT! I don't have a cat, but if I ever get one and he's expecting to own me, I fear he'll be sorely disappointed. LOL
1) No. I have to have something that's my own, to maintain my illusion of independence :D
2) Most definitely. Also when I'm very very happy, I want to hug my cats more.
3) Not really. I do think it's mildly amusing when Fog jumps for the windowsill and has to scramble up, because she misjudges the distance. That's the meany in me.
4) No. My cats will often insist on saying a few words to them, though. Usually of the "stop talking to our human servant, she's not paying proper attention to us!" variety.
5) No. I thrash about. My cats have learned to adjust. I also have a large bed - enough room for me and the cats.
6) No. Fog, in particular, does not need any encouragement in this arena :D
7) I eat at my desk. My cats sit wherever they want, but I usually put out their food when I have my food - so they're interested in their own kibble.
8) No, and no. See 5. Ursa sleeps by my head sometimes, though.
9) No. Once I figured out that my cats didn't like some food I'd chosen for them, I offered it to a neighbor who has cats.
10) No. They've grown wise to the fact, and sleep by my feet or between me and the wall. They know not to block my exits, or I get skittish.
11) Nope. My opposable thumbs, my remote.
12) Nope. I bought a birdfeeder.
13) I only let my cats out onto the patio, and not when I wouldn't want to go out...so this never happens.
By these questions, I would appear to be a cat owner.
I do, however, turn faucets on when one of them requests; give them each one small treat every night as a bedtime snack; and feed them in the mornings before I turn on the coffeepot or get in the shower. There's some balance :D
I don't have a cat, but I suspect that if I did that the cat would totally own me.
I don't have a cat, but some of these are very true about my mini dachshund!
Happy TT!

No cannot answer these questions.... Do you think I've been deprived??? I have never had a cat for a pet.... I did have dogs though....
Or maybe owned by your blogging friends with cat's.... *lol*
I've actually only had one cat in my life, when I was a child. We took care of a stray cat that was in bad shape and made her feel good. So good that she got kittens too... *lol*
But my sisters has had several cat's. I've loved them all. They're such personalitites, if you let them be that.
Funny post Gattina!
No I'm not owned by my cats but maybe by my pets in general. Here are my results:
Yes to 1 & 2 & 13
No to 3, 6, 7, 11, 12
Replace cat with dog for 4, 5, 8, 9, 10 and it would be yes. lol
LOL! No cat anymore--we moved, the cat stayed with my daughter, who's jointly owned by both a cat and a dog. :)
Very cute and funny TT. I Voted that I have any cats, but I would have voted yes/no if I could have substituted my "kids" for "cats" and you'd be surprised how similar the two really are. Especially about hanging from curtains and feeding them every time you eat:)
Great TT. We only have a sort of adopted, stray outside cat.
I'm not sure if I should be happy or sad. I don't a cat.
Thanks for the visit.
I am afraid I said yes to a LOT of these! Sadly my cat passed away nine years ago and I have not lived in a pet friendly place since then. She was 20 when she died so that was almost all of my childhood. Great list!
I´m sorry to tell I don´t have a cat - I´m owned by a dog =)
Great TT anyway!
My TT is up, too. Please stop by @ Coffee2go - Thanks =)
Liebe Grüsse!

I don't have a cat right now but when I did I bet I would have agreed with all of these! Thanks for dropping by :)
I have four cats and yes- they do have a say in much of what goes on in my home LOL....
Great TT. Mine owned me before I was married. Then they had to move in and share a home, and now they share a home with dogs too. They aren't as bad as they used to be and they don't get to sleep with me anymore. But they never could sleep on my head, my allergies were too bad. They slept on my butt and feet. When Martin goes on trips I let them in the bedroom again!
I voted and found that most blogger don't have a cat:-)
Thanks for stopping by my Sunflower blog and supporting me! Welcome back anytime.
I will Exercise for Comments!

i stand convicted. my cats own me. i could answer yes at least to some extent and one time or other to almost every one.
currently my cats' behavior is cur-tailed by their current living conditions--in my in-law's home which is in a mobile home park where stray cats are caught in traps and sent to the pound which is essentially a death sentence. hence they must be kept on leashes both indoors and out. sleeping in a bed with two cats on leashes is...well... entertaining.
my TT is once again about the immenent loss of our county library services. and yes, you could say i'm obsessed.
Wow - I like cats but not that much. ;) We have the sweetest cat that showed up on our doorstep a couple months ago. Turns out she was a kitten from a litter of a neighbor, but I guess she decided she wanted to be ours cuz she just ran on in and made herself at home! I do cuddle with her and let her sleep on my bed. But I'd get ticked if she tried to share my food! ;) Best part is she meows at the back door when she needs to go out -- no litter box! Now THAT'S my kind of cat! =)
