Pookie is also participating at Friday Feast, after she inspired me, she now needs real food !

Appetizer

Which language would you like to learn and why? That's a good question ! I speak (and write) already German, French, English and Italian, now I could add Russian perhaps ? There are so many Russian tourists around now since the land is open. But I really don't need to, as they mostly speak french (when they are educated). That doesn't mean that people with only one language are not educated ! I haven't said that !

Soup What's the funniest thing you've heard or read so far this week?

about a local politician who had put 100.000 € (only) in his pocked and said "No, it wasn't me" following the uses of all countries.

Salad

Which movie was so bad you couldn't watch the whole thing?

Could not happen to me, I only watch movies which I like and I know already about its content (and the happy end) For example movies like " I love my plastic surgeon. The true story"

Main Course

If there were a holiday in your honor that didn't use your actual name, what would the day be called?

Nut day, (not nuts !) she was the goddess of the sky and all heavenly bodies, a symbol of resurrection and rebirth and had said “I am Nut (s), and I have come so that I may enfold and protect you from all things evil.” Nut was thought to be the barrier separating the forces of chaos from the ordered cosmos in the world. (and that we need !)

This is NUT here represented as a cow (I would have prefered a cat) and above the cow is how she looked like.

Dessert

Name one movie which is coming out soon that you would like to see.

Came out already but still want to see it : "Happy Feet" it reminds me the shoe size of our son 48 (14)

People were sure short in olden times. Or cows were really, really big, ha,ha..

I was really jealous of all the languages you can speak but then I realized I can speak British, Canadian, American and Australian..

hey Ingrid,

I have forgotten to tell ya how much I enjoy all your pretty Christmas decorations on your blog and in your home. You actually have more home decorations out this year than I do! :)
Keep me chuckling and thanks for all you mean to me this holiday season!

Claudia
PS I ain't been commenting too much. I am overly anxious about seeing my heart doctor Tuesday. I do hope he will help me. So I am most times in a tizzy, here, there and nowhere!

Dutch? Danish? LOL... I'm so embarassed! I DID know that... just a slip of the fingers! hehehe... (and the mind!)

I do have to question your holiday though! HOW can a holiday dedicated to Nut also be a holiday dedicated to YOU? Unless of course, You ARE a NUT!!! I rest my case!

Great feast! (and... which language do you THINK in?)

Wow-I'm so impressed with how many languages you know!

Thanks for visiting my feast :)

Great feast. I like your main course. I wouldn't want to be a cow either, but a cat would be nice. You know a lot of languages! I wish I had the time to learn one right now, but with 2 small children there just isn't time. Maybe in a year or two. Oh, and my grandmother was Italian. Her parents came from Sicily, but I don't know an exact location.

Now if it were me it would have to be NUTTY day. Thanks for dropping by.

hahaha .. Nut Day - but it DOES sound like that's where the expression 'nutty' comes from perhaps?

"was thought to be the barrier separating the forces of chaos from the ordered cosmos in the world

That has been my 'alternate' life plan - if things get to be too much, why, I can always 'just crack up'

Gattina, you have such a great blog, haven't visited for a few days so get to see several posts in one sitting, have been sitting here laughing and laughing, and thinking too, and learning - many thanks.
:-)
Della
p.s. I am off to check my tarot personality! This will be interesting...
