are here
Pookie meauwed disdainful that she never has problems with her teeth.
Since a few days you feel a little uncomfortable with one of your teeth.
1. You look in the mirror with a wide open mouth. You gremace from right to left using your thumb. You pull out your tongue and say baahh to yourself, you see nothing but a redish hole. You decide to rince once with a tranquilizing liquid and forget about it
2. Next morning, you intend to have some breakfast, you bring the coffe filled cup to your mouth, drink a zip, yell aaahhh and spit it on the floor.
3. You clean the floor with one hand the other holding your cheak
4. You get depressed and return to the mirror, same as above
5. In the afternoon, you feel better, nothing happens during the day besides a little titillation around the culprit tooth.
6. For supper you have meatballs. Easy to chew, no problem, but there is one pepper corn in the meatballs and of course you get it and bite.
7. You jump to the ceiling, you knock over the chair, you screem and cry, tears are running over your face and you held your cheak.
8. You danse around on one foot and then fall on your bed, take at least 5 pain killers, put a hot cloth against your cheak and suffer in silence.
9. After a sleepless night with a hurting tooth and no painkiller help, you finally decide to call your dentist for an emergency.
10. With trembling knees, a weak stomac and quick heart beats, you finally arrive at his practice.
11. On his invitation you sit down on his torture chair and open reluctantly your mouth just a bit. But he orders you to open it more. You close your eyes and pray. 12. You hear him fumble and the instruments click and suddenly you have a syringe in your mouth but before you realize that you have to yell now, the shot is already done. You decide to faint.
13. When you open your eyes again, you see the dentist smiling from one ear to the other with your blood covered tooth laying neatly on a little tray. You can't speek yet, you have the feeling as if half of your face is paralysed but you don't feel pain anymore and then an immense relief. It's over.
Now it depends on the patients character or he leaves the dentist in a hurry almost fleeing from him, and just mumble "send me the bill" or he jumps at his neck to hug and kiss him of relief.
Now think it over, how would you behave ?

OMG. He yanked it, just like that???
Happy TT!
omg lol how i hate going to the dentist! hehe - thanks for stopping by and have a happy thanksgiving! :)
I'd be dancing for joy with relief though I hate going to the dentist. The thought makes me shudder!
Yikes! Sounds painful! At least you feel better now, right? :)
Thanks for stopping by my TT!
How ironic, I had an unplanned root canal done today. I could have written this list too! :(
i have never understood why people dread the dentist... I guess I am one of those luckypeople who have a high pain tolerance level and a good set of teeth... never had a cavity all my life till last year.. and that was my nasty wisdom tooth....
LOL! :D Great story. Not such a fun experience, however.
I've only had problems at the dentist once - I switched dentists after that.
And Pookie has never had troubles with her teeth? Lucky her and lucky you. Growing up, both our cats had to have their teeth cleaned by the vet, even though we did our best to keep their teeth healthy.
Have a good day. :)
Thank goodness I never had that problem, I'm scared of the dentist so I avoid going there too often.
I hope you feel better now!
Happy TT!
I'm not scared of the dentist, but going there isn't my hobby either!
Thanks for visiting my TT.
Hmmm, fainting...that sounds about right!
Thanks for visiting
Yikes! thankfully most of the time I'm at the dentist its because my gums are bothering me and not my teeth. Happy TT
What a traumatic tooth story! Glad it is fixed. We can't like bad toothaches!!
Love the name Pookie!! Just seeing the word dentist makes me nervous. :)
Happy TT!!
I would jump up from the chair and run like heck. Dentists are expensive.
I would leave him the tooth though. I'm cheap but not mean..
Why do we have to pay dentists anyways. The tooth fairy pays us for our teeth. Why not dentists..
Loved your post! I just went Tuesday and had a root canal and a bonding and I did all of the above and even more when I saw the bill!
Thanks for the laughs!
This is a great post. I hate going to the dentist. It's one of my greatest fears. Ack. I just try not to think about it.
*OUCH* =)
Looking forward to meet my dentist next week...

LOL, I am the kind who goes to the dentist at least twice a year, so there is only a little to do if anything at all. Have the next appointment on monday, but only for a nice cleaning so I can smile more.
Happy Thursday :)
Boy I hate when that happens.
Happy TT!
Well, I have not been in exactly that situation, but something similar involving problems to getting the tooth out of there, a dentist covered in sweat fighting with my tooth, having to break it in pieces to get it out (good tooth quality is a punishment in some situations) and destroying his instruments while doing it and a very damaged mouth of mine. Phew!
What did I do? I looked at him silent with tears in my torned eyes and he gave me half the actual price...
Interesting 13!
Thanks for stopping by mine!
