WORDLESS SOUVENIRS

Image Hosted by ImageShack.us

PC Pookie sleeps as it is a wordless day.

I started to photograph old pictures which are glued in an Album and therefore impossible to remove for a scan. But as it happens with old Albums you start looking through and suddenly souvenirs come up and you start to get a little melancolic and thoughtful and you ask yourself where all this time has gone, it went by so fast !

This is a picture of my son when he were just one or two days old and it was taken 33 years ago ! It seems to me as if it had been yesterday.

But then I saw this picture, not glued in an old album but in my computer, yes, times have changed and we modernized ! And here he is 33 years later 2 m (6.6) long. It's hard for me to imagine that he had been such a little baby.

I think the link to your site was wrong so I changed the "/" to the "." since it's supposed to say ".blogspot.com" I hope others think to do that same. : ) anyhow, I love the newborn picture! Love it!

He has grown into a handsome man. Pet Pookie for me!

PS. Near the top right on my WW photo, there is a lizard on the glass. It does kinda blend in with the plants.

i love looking at old photos myself... I suppose all mother go through the wonder of seeing and remembering the wee babe in their arms (or should I say crib...??) and the now very big and ver independant sons/daughters... My kids are just 5 & 3 but still it never ceases to amaze me how much they have grown and to remember them the day they were born...

Happy Wednesday

It always amazes me to come across the old baby pictures and see how much they've grown and changed.
Pookie is absolutely adorable by the way.
